Howdy babes

Ok ok, so traditionally most people will go for their best man and maid of honour too be their registry witnesses. Its just what you do... you saw it at a friends wedding and its just an assumption that's the right thing. Nope!

You can have your wedding witnessed by literally anyone over the age of 18. As long as they witness your ceremony.

This gives you an awesome opportunity too include family members or friends that you would like to have a bigger part in your wedding day.

Have a think about who is already playing a major role in your day (i.e mum or dad walking you down the aisle, best man standing next to you and giving a speech) and give someone else one of the most important roles in your big day!

Here are some of my fave suggestions and ideas for who to have write on those special papers at your wedding!

  • Parents
  • Grandparents
  • Godparents
  • Childhood friends
  • Best man & Maid of Honour
  • Siblings

Along with two witnesses you need an awesome celebrant to make that shiznit all official and stuffs so reach out to me if you would like some recommendations of our favourite celebrants in the industry.

and now for some more of our beyond incredible couples getting all hitched and stuff!!
